The Scouts stayed at Tai Tam Campsite (大潭童军中心) from the 4th to the 6th of June, and the B.P International House on the 7th and 8th of June. Tai Tam Campsite is a clean and well equipped campsite surrounded by lush greenery. The B.P International House is a commercial hotel which is located at the Hong Kong Scout Headquarters. The building is 25 storey high, with a grand lobby at the ground floor. The next five floors offer parking spaces for its users. The association’s offices, Scout shop, training rooms and a gallery of Hong Kong Scouting collections are located on the 8th to 11th floors of the building.

During the six day, five night stay in Hong Kong, the Scouts attended an Environmental Course, participated in a night orienteering activity at Causeway Bay, hiked up to the highest mountain in Hong Kong, Tai Mo Shan (大帽山), toured Victoria Peak and spent a fun filled day at the Hong Kong’s Disneyland on the final day of the trip. The Scouts enjoyed themselves tremendously.

Our Scouts also bonded with the 19th and the 1357th Hong Kong Scouts Group. Although the goodwill trip has ended, Triace will be hosting the 57th Kowloon Scout Group, who will be coming to Singapore on the 7th to the 11th of August. Together with the help of our Scouts and leaders, we will strengthen the friendship of the two countries.
